Conference mode trouble with “Apple TV+ is her screen”

We have 20+ Apple TVs of different generations and all in Conference screen mode. Every 2-3 weeks the screen blocks our guests and users from using the airplay function.

can we turn the screen of in any way?

the problem is made even more annoying in that the remotes have been stolen or have disappeared over time and only two are left. And pairing a remote with a unit mounted in the ceiling (5m) on a projector isn’t easy.

apple please resolve the issue

Hi Jacobadk,

When your guests are trying to AirPlay from the Apple Tv, do they receive a specific error? To stream content from a Mac, iOS device, or iPadOS device to Apple TV, both Apple TV and the shared device may need to be connected to the same network.

You may want to be sure the security settings are correct for the conference room display mode feature.

"Lock Conference Room Display mode

You can set Apple TV so that Conference Room Display mode is locked until a 4-digit passcode is entered.

Open Settings on Apple TV.
Go to General > Restrictions, and enter the passcode if required.
Make sure Conference Room Display is set to Restrict in the list of restricted items. For more information, see Restrict access to content on Apple TV."

Hi Astro24

I is all users, not only guests. When the "appleTV+ is here" screen is present, no airplay 4 digit code kan be displayed on the screen. If we wait 7-8 minutes the screen disappears and everything Is fine, but that is not very smart in a teaching og konference situation.

No error is shown.
