Desktop background pictures

Since upgrading to Monterey I can no longer get my photos to cycle on the desktop background. I followed all the steps suggested: System Preferences, Desktop, Photos, Albums, but nothing appears when selecting an album. I had no problem with this until upgrading from Big Sur.

Help please.

Hey there Benthos21,

Here's some things you'll want to check:

1.Designate a System Photo Library in Photos. We're sharing this to make sure that System Photo Library settings are correct.

2.Once finished, check the settings on Use a screen saver on your Mac.

3.Restart your Mac and test it out.

We're suggesting these to rule out anything that would be connected to a setting.

If it's still not working since the update and the settings are correct, you'd want to reach out to Apple Support. They'd be able to work with you to narrow down why it's no longer working.

Take care.
