Since I woke up this morning I’ve had a blurry rectendle in the top left corner of my iPhone in multiple apps and home screen. When I googled it it said to go to settings – brightness Dash toggle on dark mode and then toggle on light mode and this didn’t work but it was only temporary. What is the permanent solution?

I did that but after a little while it came back again. What solved my problem is I powered my phone off and back on again.
Just had this happened to me.. what you want to do to get rid of that blurry bar is:
go to settings > display & brightness > under appearance, switch between “Light” and “Dark”
in my case, I originally set it to dark, so all I had to do was choose “Light” then choose “Dark” again. No more blurry bar!
Yup . this is new ……had to turn my phone off and reboot, that was the only thing that worked
Restarting worked for me too, but some days later the corner appeared again with no explanation. making a screenshot, the screenshot app doesnt have the blurry bug. I closed the screenshot app doing "Done" and the blurry corner appeared again. I think that isn't solved. In my case I didn't played with light/dark settings.
Thank you so much Scrmomx4 Your suggestion has solved the problem for me. Strange how my phone went blurry overnight. [It was fine when I went to sleep then when I woke up it had the blurry left hand top and search bar.
