how do you change the start page number?

In pages, there is a feature allowing the ability to create a Table of Content without having to do it manual... HOWEVER, I can't seem to figure out how to change or control where the page numbering starts. I would rather the page numbers not actually start until the actual document begins and not right at the cover or title page... HOW DO I DO THAT??

I would introduce two sections at the beginning of the document: 1)Title/Cover, and 2) ToC. A third section would then become the beginning of your document.

In the first and second sections, select Document on the Toolbar, and in Section > Headers & Footers, select Hide on first page of section, Match previous section is not selected, and Page Numbering > Start at: 1.

For section 3, click in the header or footer segment where you want to insert your page number. It will offer 3, but you can ignore that. Then, in Document > Section > Headers & Footers, nothing is selected, and for Page Numbering, Start at: 1. The page number in Section 3 will change to 1.
