Closed caption not working for britbox on Apple TV

I have fourth generation Apple TV I was watching Britbox with close captions. All of a sudden the close captions are not working. I have a fire stick on another TV and the closed captions are working. I have reset the Apple TV, deleted the Britbox app and reinstalled it with no success. Close captions does work with Amazon prime.

Why all of a sudden are the close caption is not working. If I tell Siri to turn it on it says it’s active.

Anybody have any suggestions?

If a feature works in other apps except one, and when you already did a delete-and-reinstall, then the next step would be to contact the app publisher/developer: How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

@Urquhart1244, I have this same exact problem. I contacted Brit Box and all they told me to do was how to enable close-captioning, which is already enabled. Did you get a solution to your problem?
