Powerpoint on 3 Monitors and mirror speaker view

Hi,

I have connected 2 monitors to my Mac Book Pro and would like to show on 1 monitor the presentation of powerpoint and on the internal monitor and the 2. monitor the speaker view of powerpoint. I setup in the display setting of the 2. monitor so that it will mirror the internal monitor.

As long as I'm not in presentation mode I get on the 2. monitor the mirrored internal monitor, but when I start the presentation mode of powerpoint the display settings of the mac book stop to mirror the internal monitor and suddenly I have 3 independent monitors. One is showing the presentation, one the speaker notes and the 3. is empty. Is there any work around to avoid this?

I don't normally use Powerpoint, but I just did a quick test: I have my MBP connected to an external 24" display; connected my iPad 7th generation and set it to mirror the built-in MBP display; launched Presentation mode in Powerpoint, and it worked correctly: the iPad and MBP showed the presenter's screen, and the external 24" showed the slides.

Do you have "displays have separate Spaces" CHECKED in System Preferences->Mission Control?

If not, try checking this box, logout, login, and test again.
