Macbook keyboard consistently inserting random character after certain keys/ triggering shortcuts

I have a M1 13-inch Macbook Pro on macOS Monterey and recently, my keyboard has been acting up. It always:

  • Inserts a space after I hit n
  • Inserts a ' before every / (example: http:'/'/)
  • Typing b will cause the emoji and symbols popup keyboard to open immediately after
  • Typing x causes the "tab" action to occur immediately after (so if I'm typing in a textbox, it will tab out of it)

There are some others but they happen less consistently. These are the main 4, and is unbelievably frustrating (especially given how often I type the letter n). I cannot for the life of me figure out why this is happening. Originally, I had the Japanese keyboard input source enabled on my laptop and it would constantly switch to that keyboard (I had the caps key bound to keyboard toggle), so I removed all extra keyboard input sources except the default "U.S." one and these issues haven't stopped. I have checked every keyboard setting I can think of including sticky keys, and I have no external or bluetooth keyboards (I even turned bluetooth off). I've also tried restarting my laptop with no luck. Any advice is immensely appreciated!!
