After many unsuccessful attempts and numerous calls to the MVD, I successfully added my AZ ID to Wallet. As I understand it, the user was supposed to be able to show the ID at TSA checkpoints for identification but looking at the licence info, it's pretty dumbed down with a small picture and no barcode. How is this supposed to work? I had the AZ Mobile ID APP for a while and it seems more robust than the Apple Wallet version.

Since they run your license through a magnetic reader, I doubt that it will work for TSA.
Passports and IDs are scanned at the TSA checkpoints I’ve been through, similar to an online boarding pass.
