When watching Netflix on my MacBook Air, the audio cuts out on my AirPods.

when i’m watching netflix on my macbook the audio cuts out of my airpods and disconnects and pauses my show and when i press play to continue the show speeds by and i have to find the point i’m at again. the only way it works is if i disconnect my airpods from my computer and reconnect them the issue is that it’s happening very frequently
