i can’t get any social media notifications , when people call me or message me. i need to open the apps , then only i can see people knock me.
Check your notification Settings. Make sure that you have not set to Scheduled Summary and are using Time Sensitive Notifications for Immediate delivery.
You mention a support agent. Have you spoken with Apple Support about the problem? Are you using iOS 15.4.1? I know there was a mention of some notification issues. I'm not sure if iOS 15.4.1 was supposed to address that, or if they are being addressed later. I've not experienced a problem, so I cannot be sure. You can also test by creating a current backup, then restoring the iPhone to factory, setting it up as new, not from a backup, then install a social media app and testing your notifications. Are social media apps the only ones you do not get notifications from? Does this happen on cellular or wi-fi, or both?
Do you receive any sound notifications on your device? Is the volume turned up? Is the Mute switch off?
I spoke to Apple support they advised me those steps. I am using ios15.4.1 but the problem is from when I purchased. I purchased on January 2022. I think this is connectivity issue whenever i open then the messages or call appear.
I checked notifications setting, reinstalled the apps as per support agent instructions but the problem is same
