Apple Music and iTunes

I have over 200,000 songs in my iTunes library on my Mac. I wouldn't mind subscribing to Apple Music but I do NOT WANT any of the streamed songs to be added to my music library. Is this possible? I do NOT want my iTunes to be housed in iCloud. I want to maintain my Music Library exactly as it is currently.

Hi,

You can create a separate library for Apple Music subscription. Use multiple libraries in Music on Mac – Apple Support (UK). See also Make a split library portable - Apple Community.

The second library will contain music solely from Apple Music and if required, you can add selected tracks from your main library which can be managed as at present.
