I've had iTunes forever, purchase lots of music, set up many playlists with lots of meaning and memories, but now on my new iMac desktop and iPhone iTunes is no longer available (only "Music) and I can no longer access the music I already purchased!?

How do get access to my music and playlists again from all my new Apple devices WITHOUT paying additionally for a new subscription!? Fortunately I kept my old Mac desktop and can still access all my music & playlists there.

Klaus,

To copy your library from the old computer to the new one, follow the steps in this tip by Forum Member turingtest2:

If you copy the library intact, it will retain all the playlists and metadata from the old one.

I'm having similar issues, but worse. I can't even access iTunes. I upgraded 2 months ago to Monterey. Very slow since. Not having problems with iTunes until I came back from a 3-week vacation. Now when I go to open iTunes, I get the pinwheel and a message across the top (sometimes I don't even get that far) saying it is reviewing my iCloud account. I have over 15k songs in my library so I know it would take awhile, but 12 hrs? Come on. My music is stored on an external hard drive & I can't even open & play directly from it. Most of my songs were not from iMusic Store. How can I separate my music library from iCloud to play something if iTunes won't open?
