NBA close game notifications (apple tv)

#1 I have no idea why I am getting these notifications. I do not follow these NBA teams and did not subscribe to them.

#2 how do i just get rid of them

I do get updates for an NHL team and NFL team I follow but I still don't get why I am getting NBA updates for random teams. They seem to be close game alerts only

please help!

When Apple announced they were integrating the TV app with MLB game standings I received a notification which suggested I select some of my favorite teams to receive game time notifications for. Thinking I could update the teams I selected later, I liberally chose several teams. Now I receive multiple back to back notifications on game days that say something along the lines of "TV - Reds at Cardinals" or "TV - Pirates at Rockies" and I can't figure out where in settings I need to go to update my favorite teams. I know I can turn off notifications in Settings > TV > Notifications > Customize Notifications > Featured Sports, but I don't want to turn them off. I just want to update my preferences. Where can I update my preferences for which teams I'd like to be notified about? N.B. This is for the iOS app (and subsequently watchOS) notifications. I don't own an Apple TV hardware device.

Notifications from News channels I do not follow any more I’m getting notifications for channels I have unfollowed. I’ve gone into the News notifications settings and confirmed these channels are not followed, and that they don’t have any notification settings turned on. Anybody else having trouble?

This didn't solve my question. I have close game alerts turned off, yet I still get them for all NBA games. There doesn't seem to be anywhere I can see for sports leagues. I don't want any NBA notifications at all
