iCloud storage upgrade scam

There is a notification badge on the “setting” icon. When you open settings, iCloud storage tries to sell you an iCloud storage upgrade. Is this a scam? I can’t get rid of the badge and now I can’t access storage. I think I have a problem.

There is a notification badge on the “setting” icon.

That is not a scam.

iCloud storage tries to sell you an iCloud storage upgrade.

Looks like it's a warning that your iCloud storage is 'almost' full.

Check -> Go to -> Settings -> your name -> iCloud -> if you see 50 GB (or 200 GB ot 2 TB) then you have an iCloud subscription.

If you have an iCloud subscription, you will receive a monthly bill from Apple, check your e-mail box.

You pay monthly for iCloud storage.
