Data Recovery

I recently upgraded my iPhone 11 to a 13. When I did my data transfer/back up not all of my photos went with it. We wiped my old phone to send back to Verizon. Is there a way for me to recover these photos? I see a backup of my old phone happened and its sitting on my new phone, but I can't do anything with it.

iPhone 13, iOS 15

If you set up the new phone using the backup of the old, everything in the backup transfers over. If you use iCloud photos, your photos will download and sync when you log into your iCloud account; this could take some time to complete.

Otherwise, there isn't a way to recover the items you deleted.
