Apps under my family members email address

new iPad question. I’m trying to download apps onto my new ipad. Our family purchases are under my husbands email account, which is different from his Apple ID. My app icons showed up, but won’t install unless I put the Apple ID password in…the issue is that the Apple ID that is shown is the address for our purchases…and not my husbands Apple ID. What needs to be changed?
