Mid 2015 MacBook Pro white haze ring around the screen

Hi. I took my MacBook Pro out of my bag this morning and found it warm. When I opened the screen and woke it up I found a white hazy ring around the screen. I think it's improved slightly since but it has not resolved. The computer case is no longer warm but I don't know what to do. I tried the two resets but they had no impact. Does anyone have any ideas why this happened, what steps I can or should take or if my computer doomed. The picture are IN sequence over a few hours with the screen on I think it's improved slightly as I could not read the drop down menus in the control bar this morning snd I can now.
