Apple Music Verification Code

I recently got a Google Pixel 6 Pro and downloaded my Apple Music app to it. When I sign in with my Apple ID and Password, a pop-up tells me a message was sent to my trusted device, which I no longer have, or to my trusted phone number, which i do have.


I recently changed my password for my ID as well and got all of the various redundant passcode texts with no issue. It just will not send my verification code, regardless of how many times I try to sign in on my device.


HELP!

We understand that you no longer have access to your trusted device to receive a verification code to sign into Apple Music.


In this case, you would need to request account recovery so you can add a new trusted device: How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password - Apple Support
