Recent phone call list

When looking on your recent call list, what does the “iPhone”, “home”, or “mobile” mean under the name next to the check mark? Mainly curious about the “iPhone” part. Thank you in advance!

Hello,

Those are the labels for the phone numbers that you have saved in your Contacts App.

Edit contacts on iPhone - Apple Support

"Change a label: Tap the label, then select one in the list, or tap Add Custom Label to create one of your own."
