Brightness increases for some instagram reels automatically for iPhone 13 (ios 15.4.1). It’s like how brightness increases while we turn into cinematic mode and also watching videos in gallery. My auto brightness is turned off. It’s same even it’s turned on.

Dude I can understand it may be irritating for you but that’s how colour profiles change for HDR i things it’s same thing on androids too.

I am also facing same issue, it is so disturbing automatically brightness go high and puts strain in my eyes, then I need to skip that video forcefully.

Brightness increases automatically on some reels and youtube videos. it is very disturbing at night. some times instagram reels increases brightness at max level.
Apple should look into this matter.
Then why does it happen in camera roll and YouTube too?
I got an iPhone X running iOS 14.3 and it started doing the brightness increase while watching Reels too... it’s so annoying :(

Nah, don’t “try to fix it” just disable it altogether. Can’t watch videos in bed anymore.
apple should limit brightness for HDR. it is hard to watch videos in night time. It bUrn my eyes.
