I am disappointed with the purchase. Just bought a brand new set of AirPods and the left one continues to make a clicking / popping sound when connected to either my new iPhone 13 pro max or my new iPad Air

please help

already tried pairing with either devices and reset by putting them back in case for more than 30 seconds
