It hasn’t been dropped or abused. I am the only user. I havent a clue how to reset, and I’m not sure that’s the problem. No icon will open any app. iPhone is totally unusable I cannot answer a call or reply msgs.. Won’t turn off. Pressing the proper buttons to do so doesn’t work.

Try a forced restart.
• Press and quickly release the volume up button
• Press and quickly release the volume down button
• Press and hold the side button.
• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Saturday May 14th I will be up and out early to The Apple Store Genius Bar in Holyoke MA. I have to take the chance that I can find some resolve to these terrible issues.
