Hello, I spilled water on my macbook key oard about 40 hours ago. Ive had it in a tent position for pretty much the entire time, and Ive had it in that position in front of a fan for 10 hours+. I just tried turning it on again but it doesnt work. Is it a good idea to try plugging it in for a little bit and then turning it on?

Liquid damage is often extensive and ongoing due to corrosion. Your computer needs to be examined by an authorized service center.
Stop trying to turn it on.
Extra details: When the incident happened, I didnt know what to do at the time so i just left it running and went to get towels to clean the water, but after maybe 5 minutes the macbook turned off on its own and wouldnt turn on again. I just tried turning it on again after nearly 42 hours but it still wouldnt turn on.(I have unplugged everything from the macbook shortly after it turned off on its own)

It means that the liquid caused damage that resulted in the computer turning off.
