How can I open NYT In my safari browser?

I’ve had trouble using NYT in my safari browser. Recently I found that downloading an extension for news breaking articles was available. 1- Was this wroth the download storage used on my phone? 2- I’m still having trouble opening the extension? 3- Once I get some assistance, I’m hoping I can use the safari page to read articles in conjunction with the Speechify App for higher productivity…any insight?
