DuckDuckGo doesn't work with screen time limits

I saw a previous question asked about this and it wasn't fully answered other then telling the user to update their software. That doesn't appear to be the issue.

We are trying to figure out how to get DuckDuckGo to work with Apple Screen time limits. It doesn't seem to work at all. Everything else on the computer responds to the limits and when we use Safari or Google Chrome, specific websites are limited per our instructions in the screen time limits settings. But anything can be accessed if our kids are using DuckDuckGo. Is there a workaround??

Thank you

DDG what? The search engine website? The security extension? DDG browser?

I abandoned DDG the day the announced they were enhancing censorship. I have better things to rely on that any outfit that suddenly reverses course and starts doing what they initially got a start with by saying they didn't do. DDG is Google in a quack suit.
