Studio Display firmware update 15.5 freezes AFTER OS 12.4 updated

Today I updated to mac OS 12.4 and then tried to update my Studio Display with firmware 15.5. The firmware download completes but doesn't proceed any further. No error message, just the completed progress bar & "487.2 mb of 487.2". I read where it might be necessary to then unplug the monitor for 60 seconds and then re-plug in. I did that and it seemed to apply the firmware update (had a progress bar which completed and an overall mac restart. But System information still shows Version 15.4 (Build 19E241). No further updates show up in Software Update. ???

I'm having the same issue. Updated a new Mac Studio to 12.4.. Tired to update the Display firmware to 15.5 and is got stuck on the 487.2 as well. Tried all of the recommended fixed. Today I'm reinstalling the Mac OS after not being able to connect to the Apple servers for 2 days. Hopefully the new copy of 12.4 will allow me to finish the firmware update. As a side note none or my OWC bays are being recognized by the computer. I'm hoping the re-install will fix this too.
