Is my MacBook Pro 2016 keyboard still covered by Apple?

There is a recall on the keyboard of my MacBook Pro 15 inch 2016 the keyboard is failing making it almost impossible to type.

Am I still covered under that recall if so what's the timeframe to repair it if not when was my deadline and how much will a keyboard replacement cost.

While there my Genius Bar Support informed me that there was a recall on my keyboard. The keyboard is sticky at times and hard to press certain keys intermittently. She said I would be able to contact apple support to get this issue fixed as there was a recall on this keyboard for my macbook pro. keyboard recall not applicable per Apple for purchase of 2 MacBook pro in 2016 Why is Apple charging me ( I'm in my 80's) $1500 to replace keyboard that was a recall. I only found out by my browsing. I purchased 2 Macbook Pros the same day and both have the same problem. Purchased 12/4/2016. I had a 3 year warranty and should have been notified of this.

'E' key sticking and repeating I have an early 2015 MacBook that I purchased in Singapore in early 2016. Earlier this year I started having problems with the 'e' key sticking and repeating. It was intermittent and an air blower seemed to clear the issue for a while. It has now become unusable as it repeatedly types 'e'. I discovered that Apple have a recall program on my keyboard type and model but when I took it to the authorised service centre they pointed out that my purchase date was over 4 years ago and so the fault wasn't covered under the warranty. This seems harsh given that it's a know fault with the butterfly keyboards and most of the 2015 machines must be not covered either despite being one of the affected models. Anyone have any ideas how I can resolve this? Cheers [Re-Titled by Moderator]
