Apple Pencil case cracking/peeling

I bought my 2nd generation Apple Pencil like just 2 months ago and today I noticed I little mark on it, I pass my finger thinking it was just dirt or something and ended up being what I asume is the protective layer on the Apple Pencil peeling, I know it doesn’t look like much there but, each time I pass my finger gets bigger and I it’s a $130 purchase. I have never drop it or exposed to high temperatures, I don’t know hat to do, is there anything I can do with the guaranty?

Make an appointment with your “local” Apple Store for them to inspect your Apple Pencil.

It is under a free warranty and eligibe for a free replacement, if Apple deems this a defect.

Good Luck to You!
