Problem Typing into the Apple Music Search Field

I've noticed the problem intermittently the last few weeks, even today after updating my MacOS to 12.4.

Description: After playing Apple Music on my mac for a while (including successfully searching for artists and albums), it sometimes becomes impossible to type in more than one character without getting a "boink" sound on the second character input with the search field losing focus. I have to select the search field again, type the next character and on the next - "Boink" again, etc.

Unsatisfactory "solutions": I end up just quitting the app and relaunching. If it's in this state, a work-around is typing out what I want to put into the search field in another app and copying and pasting that into the Apple Music search field.

Questions: Anyone else experiencing this problem and do they have a better solution?

No. I have not come across this. So, restore from a backup, and report this to Apple.

A. Have any Time Machine Backups?:

Did you create a Time Machine Backup of your Mac prior to performing the update. If so, restore your Mac from it. If not, then take this as a earning experience, knowing to alway backup a device prior to making any major changes to it (i.e. update installation), that way you'll have something to restore your device form, should anything go wrong after performing the update.

B. Provide your Feedback:

Do your Part: Inform Apple of your feedback. Apple wont get back to you directly, but the more feedback thy receive from its users, the more likely they will know what needs to be fixed.

Go Here: Feedback - macOS - Apple
Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
Select: "Application/Utilities" for the "Feedback Area"
Comment: on what this is all about (Music bug after an update). Include the URL of this post.
Proceed from there as necessary.
