Hello All, I am having an issue with final cut installed transitions (basic ones such as cross dissolve, fade to black etc.). When I drag and drop them, nothing happens. I installed the latest update, but still the issue remains.

Hi Luis and Tom, At the time of posting the question, I had already installed the new version (10.6.3), and it was having the same issue. However, on reinstalling FCP, it now seems to be working.

If you’re using FCP 10.6.3 please give exact steps of what you’re doing and post screenshots of the timeline you’re doing this in.
Did you install 10.6.3, which came out today?
From the Final Cut Pro menu, choose About Final Cut Pro to confirm that you have 10.6.3.
I loved Apple's comment on fixing the transitions issue: - 'Improves reliability when using drag and drop .......' No! It didn't work at all. I wonder how they arrived at the idea of 'reliability'?
It is working here, and the OP mentioned that it works for him after reinstalling the application. Did you try that?
It did work in the timeline Just not on connected clips or for replacement.
