Memory running High

Data transfer from old MacBook Pro to my new M1 MacBook Pro Monterey 12.4. Looks like Memory running high especially Chroma please see attachment, it certainly was a lot less with old Mac, can anyone suggest what is happening and what to do, Steve

There is already a post about this issue. It seems that the overall memory display at the top is showing the total memory usage but if you look at the graph that is below it (in your screenshot) the total is a lot less as it relates to the MS amount of usage.

Your plugins are using very little memory, even Chroma. The bar in the status bar is high, because you have a lot of other things running on your Mac, which might affect the overall MainStage performance. This bar has changed with MainStage 3.6, but all memory displays have no impact on MainStage at all, they are just there, if you need to diagnose specific problems.
