Hi, my phone has started having a kind of weird splotchy light patches in the upper left corner of my screen. Any ideas on what’s causing this and how to solve?

Did you expose your phone to liquid?
Do you have a screen protector on it?
Either your screen protector is coming off or you have water damage.
I had both screen protector and a cover, but it was raining today. Did water somehow get inside it?
In the photo above I’ve removed both.
