If you never installed Numbers before, then you can't get it from the Mac App Store, as the current version requires macOS Big Sur or later. You would need to sign into iCloud and use Numbers from there. If you have previously installed Numbers v5 or later…


Launch the Mac App Store, sign in with the same Apple ID as you used to install Numbers previously. Press the option-key before you click the Purchases tab, and Numbers should appear with either an. install or update button. Click that. You may receive a dialog advising you need to upgrade your macOS to get Numbers, and you can acknowledge that dialog (do not click Cancel). Another dialog should then appear offering to install the last compatible version of Numbers for macOS Sierra.


There is a dedicated Numbers for Mac Support Community available to you, and a general Numbers - Official Apple Support site.
