How do I turn off speed cameras showing in Maps?

In France it's illegal. Google has addressed this (https://support.google.com/maps/thread/2523263?hl=en)

Do speed cameras show up in Maps when in France or is there a way to disable them showing in Maps?

I’m going to have to revert to using Google Maps if I can’t remove the camera alerts in Apple Maps!
