"usb accessories disabled"

I am getting "usb accessories disabled" notification but I am only charging my macbook pro, it also seems to hold a charge for a shorter amount of time, any help would be appreciated.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.1

On an Intel Mac—

Try resetting the SMC How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

and

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)
