Upgraded my icloud storage but it hasn't taken effect and it says my storage is full.

My storage was full, so I upgraded, not once but twice, and yet it keeps telling me to upgrade and says my storage is full. I don't want to do it again, because then I'll be double or triple billed. Apple is most unhelpful in these things. richardlost

Upgrades happen immediately. Verify your iCloud storage available at Settings > Apple ID > icloud

You may need to restart your device or sign out/in to iCloud.
