Conversion of ACC to MP3

I am trying to convert a "protected ACC" music file to an MP3 (which used to be so easy) and I am getting prompted that I am not allowed to. Is there any way around this? If is for educational purposes (I have a 2022 MacBook Air)

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.2

Conversion of Protected AAC music files is not supposed to be easy. For 128K DRM laden purchases made before 2010 you can burn the track to an audio disc and then rip back in your preferred format. 256K protected content supplied as part of the Apple Music subscription service cannot be converted, but you can purchase an unprotected copy.
