Inside Mail App Not Showing Unread Count (Only on Two Inboxes)

Hello friends,

So, I've got this weird issue, that's bugging me.

Recently I've added two Gmail accounts to my Mail App and, no matter what I do, I can't get the number of unread emails to show up, next to the mailbox name, or the dock.

I'll attach a picture for your reference.

Number of unread messages in app Mail Hello I have 3 email accounts within the app Mail. The icon says 37 unread emails. Going to global inbox - filter unread - I get empty list. Going to search bar - selection see unread messages - the 37 appear - they are all within folders - not anymore in inbox - OR they are older than 1 month. Apple Mail includes my drafts in the Unread Messages Count I have three emails running through Apple Mail, which--according to Apple--it should be able to handle easily. However, one of the accounts is now including my drafts in the unread email count, which makes the count useless. I can live with this, but it does slow me down, andApple's Help instructions have been useless. I've followed them exactly, and they made no difference. Anyone have a suggestion? My General Settings show: Dock unread count: Inbox Only New message notifications: Inbox Only Mailbox behaviors show: Drafts Mailbox: Drafts; Sent Mailbox: Sent; Junk Mailbox: Spam; Trash Mailbox: Trash. I can't see any reason this should be happening. Thanks in advance for any help offered!

Mail app mishandling emails Sometimes, when I open an email, using the apple Mail app, all of the other emails in my inbox will appear as a thread with the email I just opened. It doesn’t happen right away, but rather after a few seconds all the emails pop up in the thread. Then I’m forced to scroll through hundreds of emails to find the one I was looking at. How can I fix this problem?

Well, that was fast. I found this answer (attached in picture form) on another website. Leaving it here if anyone gets the same issue as I did.

It was very simple. On my Mac it was the folder V9 and not V7 however.
