Error message when attempting to scan with HP Envy Photo 7100 series, HP Easy Scan app

I am getting the following error when I attempt to scan using the app HP Easy Scan: (Scanner reported an error. The operation couldn't be completed. (com.apple.imagecapture error 4294967249). I looked at your suggestions in previous posts, but after doing everything listed, I still get the error message. I am using macOS Monterey Version 12.2.1. There are no updates for my Mac or my HP printer/scanner/copier app. Do you have any other suggestion? I am using HP Easy Scan app. Thank you.
