Apple Watch SE keyboard stuck in spanish

I have deleted all keyboards except english from my iphone and watch, and have restarted both devices. No matter what i try, the default input language is spanish. This is extremely frustrating as it tries to take everything im saying or writing in spanish instead of english. I have tried resetting the settings and restarting the devices multiple times.
