Data/ photo recovery on stole iPhone

My iPhone was stolen and there's a slim chance of me getting back. Is there any way I can recover the photos (those are the most important to me)? I haven't backed up my phone and I can't seem to see anything on my iCloud account. What should I do?

stolen phone, no pictures appear on the cloud Someone stole my Iphone 12 and in trying to recover the pictures from the cloud, they are not there. I am sure my phone was backed up at some point but no photos appear. The only photos that show up are those of my husband who is much less tech savy than I. Is there any way to recover the photos? I went to two different Verizon stores and they told me I was out of luck if they were not there on the cloud. Can anyone help? Ideas to try?

If you have not backed up your device, or if you do not sync with iCloud, there is nothing that you can do. The phone, and the data, are lost.
