Hi,
The Canon G6010 is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support as a model supporting the driverless AirPrint technology. An AirPrint-enabled printer is compatible with macOS (Monterey), and can be used without additional drivers, provided that the printer and the Mac computer are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router). A network connection working with AirPrint can be wired (Ethernet) or wireless. Have you tried AirPrint?
An AirPrint guide from Canon Europe (for similar models, such as the G6050) could perhaps be of some interest to you.

You can't because there are no macOS printer/scanner drivers available from Canon for this Windows and Linux only device.
And the one place I didn't look this time… The Canon G6010 is listed in… 👀
Time for my afternoon 2 mile walk to clear the cobwebs.
