HOW TO - add PDF Printer to iMac M1 chip

Hi: I'm trying to add a pdf printer option to printers & scanners to use with (ironically) - pdf files.

The common answer on search engine is to click command P, look at printer dialog box's lower left for save to pdf option. That works great when available and it's available in almost every program except Adobe Acrobat DC. Does anyone have a recommendation?

I setup the save to pdf option on mac, but it saves it in the fillable format. I need to be able to have both for my work. Anyone have any recommendations or ways to set it up? I have the new macbook pro M1 chip. I also have my computer partitioned with parallels. Long story short, adobe pro won't work on parallels if you have the M1 chip only if you have intel. I installed adobe on the mac side but now can't resolve the printing issue. worst case i can: make my changes on the mac side, upload to DropBox then download it again to parallels windows and print it.........but that's really time consuming and i do this often for work. I'm talking like i know something about computers and i really don't, so be gentle in responses, i'm learning because i just made it my work computer and i have some work software that only runs on windows.

Virtual PDF printer for Mac? I cannot find any virtual PDF printer for the Mac. I know I can "create" PDFs via printer dialog, but I want to use Acrobat DC to "split" a single-page PDF into a multiple-page PDF using Acrobat's poster print setting. Any suggestions?

Print as PDF Hey all, on Windows I have a default PDF printer installed. I use it a lot. I can't find the Mac function. I have tried FoxIt but that no longer has the print function. Hoping for some assistance as I've wasted 45 minutes trying to basically just print one page of a PDF I have open in Acrobat reader. Thanks.
