Recommendations Based on What's in your Specific Playlist

Hi all - I've recently transitioned from Spotify and cannot find one of my favorite features. I like to build playlist and use recommendations to find music similar to that specific playlist. Does this feature exist with Apple Music?

I've included a screenshot of the feature in Spotify to better explain what I'm looking for. This playlist is 81 songs long - and the recommendations below are based on what's in the playlist - they are relevant to the "mood" of the playlist - and help me find new music.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. It is very much appreciated. The "listen now" tab works fine as a way to discover a broad set of music (similar to Spotify's discover weekly), but it's not exactly what I am looking for.

My specific question is: If I'm within one of my custom built playlists, is there a way to get specific recommendations based on the songs in that specific playlist (not the entirety of my listening habits).

From what I'm gathering, this feature does not exist.

Hi Flizito,

In Apple Music, your recommendations are based on your listening history. You'll want to make sure Use Listening History is turned on in Settings > Music. Learn more here: See recommended music on iPhone

Also, the For You tab offers a lot of great ways to access new music based on your taste.

If you subscribe to Apple Music, you can find your favorite music and discover more music you’ll love in Listen Now. You can also see a summary of your Top Picks, including your favorites, music recommendations based on what you listen to, and more. And as you play music, Apple Music learns what you love and organizes suggestions for music you might like in Listen Now.

Hi Flizito,

The closest feature for getting recommendations based on similar songs or artists would be a custom radio station, as outlined here: Listen to the radio in the Apple Music app.

This feature will create a custom radio station based on a specific artist or song, and will play songs that are like that specific artist or song.
