Dual SIM - Prompt for each call
Hello,
I saw this was asked a while back and wanted to know if Apple planned to implement the possibility to be prompted to choose which of the 2 SIM cards should be used every single time I make a call.
This is my first iPhone and this functionality is the only thing that I find extremely annoying compared to my previous Android phone.
I live in Spain and work in France, commuting every day. I have a SIM card from each country and can't call a number with the wrong SIM without risking extra charge from either provider.
The option to use the last SIM used for a specific number only works for a handful of situations with existing contacts.
The default SIM is not practical either.
Example:
My default SIM is the French one.
I'm home in Spain and I'm looking for a local business' number on Google. I hit "call" and it will use the French SIM straight away which is NOT what I want. Then to make things worse, the French SIM is now registered as the default SIM for that number. So the logical thing to do is going to my call history and somehow try to change the default SIM for that number (which I don't want to add to my contacts btw). Nope, no way to do that. The only way is to go to the settings and change my default SIM to the Spanish and go back to Google and hit call again. What a waste of time!
Sorry for the rant but this seems like a very basic functionality that Android has and iOS is missing.
I thought iOS was all about productivity, I can't understand how you haven't addressed this already. Surely this has been an issue for many people since your first dual-SIM device.
