remove Legacy contract

How do I remove a legacy contact and also when I go to verify how to contact me will not allow me to add my phone number every time it sends me the verification code it says I am inputting the wrong code

How to Add a Legacy Contact for your Apple ID - Apple Support
Go to the section: Remove a Legacy Contact and follow the instructions

Check that time and timezone are correct on your phone. Settings -> General -> Date & Time
