iTunes dont let me restore my iPhone

Hello! I have made a backup of my iPhone because i change it, and now when i want to restore backup on my new iPhone it wont let me, “restore backup” button is greyed out, why is this happen? iTunes is instaled in C drive, backup is also in C drive, backup folder is visible. I have the latest version of iOS on my device, and last version of iTunes.

How can I restore backups if itunes doesnt list any device backups? I backed up my iphone 11 to itunes with encryption and erased my phone to fix an issue. When I tried to restore it, it failed a couple of times. I uninstalled and re-installed newer version of itunes on Windows. But the new installation of itunes does not recognize my older backups even when I add the path of backup folder under preferences. It just says the iphone has never been backed up to this PC :( I have years worth of important data that I cannot love without (data within apps that you cant backup) Please help!

iTunes 12.11.0.26, Windows 10, iPhone 12 - Your iPhone has not been backed up to this PC I have backed up my iPhone 12 (iOS 14.2.2) with an older PC, successfully various times until recently, when I started getting a "Your iPhone has not been backed up to this PC" message even with no error messages and completing the backup. I just set up a new PC and tried backing up my iPhone 12 with the latest iOS 14.2.2 and the newest iTunes version !2.11.0.26) When I backup my device, it saves the backup exactly as it is supposed to, in exactly the folder that it is supposed to and I can see the file, but iTunes can't seem to find it there, and after every "successful" backup, I get the same "Your iPhone has never been backed up to this computer" message. I have read several threads here but I have not been able to find a suitable solution. Any ideas on how to fix this?

iTunes says that the phone has never been backed up to that computer, that's why the button is greyed out. Verify that the update shows in iTunes under settings.

Has never been backed up to this computer because its a new iPhone, and i need to restore the old backup from my previous iPhone. I will verify the update under settings👍
