Lost subfolders for email account?

I no longer have any subfolders for one of my email accounts on my iPhone 11, IOS 15.5. Does anyone know why they have disappeared and how can I retrieve them?

It was a case of clicking on the blue arrow not the header to bring the full list up rather than just a few folders.

Try removing and re-adding the mail account under Settings > Mail > Accounts.

Hmm. Try checking out this post: Missing Mail sub-folders in Mail? - Apple Community. I’m not sure if it’s completely helpful but it might lead you to a possible solution.
