Assuming that you are using an SSL-secured session using a web-browser, or your bank-provided App, you have no cause for concern when using Apple’s Private Relay feature.


In some circumstances, however, you may find that your bank sign-in may fail - or may trigger additional security measures. Your bank will very likely establish a higher degree of “trust” in your connection when you are connecting via a known/regularly used IP Address; Private Relay is designed, in part, to disrupt identification of your connection by hiding your true IP Address.


When connecting to your bank, or other high-trust services, you might find it necessary to disable Private Relay in some circumstances.
