I installed Monterey on my iMac and now it freezes on the login page.

Monterey software cause my IMac to freeze at Login. How do I get in to ininstall the software.

Installing macOS Monterey Hello! I have a 2015 MacBook Pro with a new battery and disk. It's currently running Catalina 10.15.1 and I'm hoping to install Monterey. I can not install macOS Monterey. I can not install macOS monterey. I have not been able to install it from systems preferences or the App Store. I entered the word monterey into spotlight and was able to download the files but the update would not install. In fact, after I update downloaded, my computer would not restart. I have a late 2015 iMac and over 500 G of storage space available.

Installing Monterey I have tried to install Monterey the regular way, from an external hard drive, in safe mode and pretty much any way I can think of with no luck. My computer is the following: MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) I have installed extra memory myself, so it is 8 GB and I have plenty of free space. I think it might have to do with me doing freelance work for Microsoft on the computer and therefore having given permissions to them, but I had no problems installing the previous update. Any advice?

Technically you do not uninstall the operating system. What is done is to reinstall a "clean" version over the existing corrupted version. Use an Ethernet connection, not Wi-Fi, as it will often corrupt the installation.
